The songs are uplifting and makes me feel happy to know that Jesus died for me. The lyrics are great too. Have to ever heard "Heart of Worship"? Ever paid attention to the lyrics? Like really pay attetion? I guess not. Because if you did then you would realise how great this CD is. So what if the word has the letter z at the end. It's not the end of the world!! You know what you parents are tell us kids? You're saying that you rather have us sing about drugs and (yes dare I say it) sex and not about our Lord and Savoir Jesus. And if you continue to act this way, your own children will be hobos and bums on the street. You are what you listen to and I'm gonna stick to listening to Worship Jamz.

Every move I make I make with you
You make me move Jesus
Every step I take I take with you...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-6835057912227213902008-01-09T11:01:00.000-08:002008-01-09T11:01:00.000-08:00I have a DVR and do not watch commercials. I found the Christmas Jamz from the Worship Jamz series at our library when I was looking for more music for the 5 hours of classes that I teach on Sunday mornings at my church! I had grabbed about all of the Christmas CDs the library had and took them home for several days to listen to them. Some of them just were not, ahem... right for church. Others, I knew would not be appealing to the children. I generally volunteer to teach 1st through 3rd graders, but due to a lack of teachers I have had an age range of 3 years old up to 5th graders! They all loved this CD the most out of the ones I had selected! So I went to our Family Christian store to see if I could find more; I bought the original and the second cd in the set. So far all of them have been a huge success, and are a welcome addition to our music selection.

Z is just a letter folks... :-)

Have Wonderful Lives and God Bless You All! :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-3972212415767239872007-11-02T19:13:00.000-07:002007-11-02T19:13:00.000-07:00I love this Cd my old first grade teacher let us ...I love this Cd my old first grade teacher let us listen to it alot,oh,and my friend Angela let us listen to her 2nd cd.byeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-1137035034643973282006-01-11T19:03:00.000-08:002006-01-11T19:03:00.000-08:00True, true.True, true.Bekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02421106490759593190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-1136906773337503232006-01-10T07:26:00.000-08:002006-01-10T07:26:00.000-08:00My favorite out here is playing with the same ferv...My favorite out here is playing with the same fervor as Worship Jamz--"Reggaeton Ninos" Basically, it is little kids singing all of the Reggaeton hits, which are big in this area. The problem, is that the lyrics are horrible. (Estan Horrible.) For example: Gasolina--about sex. I would rather them singing praise to the Jesus that hates Mormons than about how they can't get enough of that Gasolina.La Yenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15044092297673361855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-1136611863448497952006-01-06T21:31:00.000-08:002006-01-06T21:31:00.000-08:00US Weekly said they are together. Whew...I am safe. All of our children are being pulled into the hypnotic web of this commercial. It really does play every 5 minutes. In our house, when my husband is trying to annoy me, he will whisper WORSHIP JAMZ over and over. I might kill him.

Taber--you are right. They have enough money to market this thing because it is sung BY kids FOR kids (like kids care!!!). I never understood why parents didn't want their kids to watch commercials until this Christmas. Every item on Lulu's list was from a Nick Jr. commercial. She didn't even know what most of them WERE. Now, I am wishing I had Tivo.

Caffine, I got a creepy mental picture of Joe Simpson when I first saw it. I thought to myself "this is something Joe Simpson would do". He and Tom Cruise should both forced to listen to Worship Jamz on loop while picking up garbage on the side of the road.

Judy--is Jessica sleeping with Adam or what? Could you tell me if THAT little US Weekly tidbit is true? After Paris Hilton, ick.....

Well, I want you to know that I am ordering WORSHIP JAMZ for all your kidz so you can listen to it on all your long tripz and during napz. Why must Utah put a Z on the end of everything. Lyle, don't forget the STARZ (wasn't there one of those?) At least the soccer team was Real. We love the store called FANZZZZ in the mall. Using a Z is almost as much fun as turning c's into k's. Korner, Kute, Kuntry. It is so very "Quilted Bear" (what is that anyway?)Bekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02421106490759593190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-1136582016843792012006-01-06T13:13:00.000-08:002006-01-06T13:13:00.000-08:00I have heard of the music, but have never actually...I have heard of the music, but have never actually heard the music.

Overkill of the "z" has only been tolerated by sport teams in Utah. The best part of it all is the psychidelic album covers they show. Are you kidding me? Why must we hear of you every 15 minutes?" They must have paid big money to be played so often during the prime hours, ie, every hour. I'm sick of hearing about it. For some reason, I don't mind the others that I've seen in the Jamz series...I like it when my kids sing "Behind These Hazel Eyes" (The "Breakaway" CD by Kelly Clarkson is my current guilty pleasure). Plus, Emma got the Barbie Guitar for Christmas, which has cartridges allowing for karaoke of "Oops, I Did It Again" and "She Will Be Loved". I think it's funny.

I do like Veggie Tales, especially the Cheeseburger Song. Gets me everytime.

Have I said too much?~j.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02959570365515658547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-1136562093010605882006-01-06T07:41:00.000-08:002006-01-06T07:41:00.000-08:00You're not the only one Becca. I've heard the commercial several times and we even PVR Dora, DragonTales, et. al. for Isabelle and Chase and somehow the commercials still manage to get played! We had to take Isabelle to the ER a few days ago for something that turned out to be minor, but during our three hour wait in the Children's ER to be seen by a doctor, I must have seen that commercial eight times. Apparently the company that puts that compilation out also has several other similar titles available, because I also saw several variations on the "-Jamz" theme, though I can't remember the other titles right off the top of my head.

The thing that struck me is that these are all CDs of either covered or public domain songs, but sung by kids, so the biggest production costs are any royalties that go to the composers, since they are probably only throwing a few dollars at the kids who actually sing the songs. If you were to buy such a compilation at Target, you'd find it in the $1 section near the front of the store, but if you act now through this special TV offer, all these cheesy renditions can be yours for the low, low price of $18.98 plus 7.95 S&H!

What a ripoff! What kind of uplifting message does that send to your kids?

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to see if I've won that eBay auction for that ReligiTables Movie...Tabloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04073656186893527011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12830417.post-1136558291280215692006-01-06T06:38:00.000-08:002006-01-06T06:38:00.000-08:00I've seen it and actually thought that Caleb would...I've seen it and actually thought that Caleb would love it.
