I heard on the radio that the highest prices are on the west coast, while the lowest are in the rockies...though i DISTINCTLY REMEMBER paying $2.65/gal in Vail in early July. Ish. Hang in there.
Thanks! I will take this new gas price hike as incentive to exercise---walk more. We lived in New Jersey about 6 years ago. I remember that it was 88 cents a gallon. 88 cents!!! They also said on the news that gas is only 12 cents a gallon....in Venezeula.
Thanks for commenting. I LOVE your blog. You make me laugh.
Rebecca, That is too crazy! Who should we complain too? I think you should all just buy bikes for everyone...you could put your new baby in a little sling and drive around...that way they dont have to wear seatbelts.
Or you could just do like my dad did, and give those kids piggy back rides WHILE you ride your bike! We did this all the time, starting when I was like 2!! "Hold on tight, Wendy!" We'd ride down to the Dairy Queen for ice cream! Oh, the days of no seat belts or helmets or sanity!! CRAZY!!!
Lucky for us, there is a Safeway, a deli, a bakery, a gas station a drugstore and a mexican food place all w/ in about 2 minutes. :-) Who needs to leave home?
Hopefully fall will bring the prices down. A gal can dream, right?
