3 Moths Ago...

The house is quiet, sort of. Derek is coaching Lu's game, Jacob is in front of Elmo and the baby is sitting on my lap as I type kicking her little legs and singing. I just realized that today is her three month birthday. Has it only been three months? It feels like it sometimes, but we can't remember what it was like before Miss Norah joined our family. She is really getting a personality (diva) and starting to loose the little baby look and become a real girl. She has huge eyes, beautiful Angelina Jolie-esque lips and the biggest afro ever. So. much. hair. Lauren still doesn't have this much hair. I can feel it starting to change just a little bit. The very fine, straight baby stuff is falling out and we are left with perfect curls that beg to be touched (hence..the afro). We can't stop petting her hair. Jacob does it, Lu does it, Derek and I do it. Even she likes to grab on to it. And, last night she rolled over for the first time. She can go from front to back. She pushes up, tucks her arm under, leans her giant head to the side and bam...she is over. What a smart baby.

Before we know it the holidays season will be over and we will be FINALIZING!! I can't believe it. I have to go now. Jacob found Lulu's stash of Pixie stickes (in Tinkerbell packaging...Genius, huh?) and he has opened one, eaten it, gagged on it (because it is sour..he will eat jalapenos and pepperoni but doesn't like sour) and now the powder has stuck to his drool covered chest (I hadn't dressed him from his bath...ghetto baby, I know). Blue power is about to be distributed all over the house. Stinker.

This is Nori wearing Lulu's blessing dress. We will have pictures of N in her own dress soon...

This is the hair a month ago. It has doubled since then....

Although this looks like baby torture, I take her picture in this same child sized rocking chair every month so we can show how much she has grown....

Wow she really does have some Angelina Jolie looking lips. How cute are they!!!!

She is adorable and I love the first picture of the cute little innocent hand and then you look in the background and see a very unhappy little girl. It's just so cute!! Sweet little hand.

I take a picture of my kids each month with the same stuffed animal - for the 1st year of their life. It is AMAZING to see how they change.

The chair is a good idea, though, it's much easier to find than a stuffed animal.

Nori is amazing. Truly.

Well, we think she is cute put the photos prove she is looking less and less like Yoda every day!! :-)

Her new thing when she is really content and happy is to coo for a few minutes and then switch to a very low and gutteral growl. Like you are about to be attacked by a dog. This is her "happy" sound. Silly girl.

I'm dying to meet this cute little girl. I'm afraid of sounding creepy... since you've never actually met me. But I just want to pick her up and give her a sqeeze and some tickles. Can I babysit?

I love to hear about your babies (jalapenos... I had one today just to see if I might change my mind and like them but, no, I still don't).
