Do you know who these people are?

Cubby and Nunu

Snackwell, Cubby and BooBoo

Cubby, M and JoJo

I love this picture. Can you see the resemblance?

Story later..... but for now take just a minute and think about these pictures. See how far we have come in 18 months? I know that this is FAR from the ending of this story, but this puts us well on the road to the ending I wanted.... I can't look at the last picture w/out crying a little bit.

How great is that?

Bek, those pictures are awesome. I can't wait to hear the story. I am assuming it's Cubby's birthfamily. Jordan's birthmom called the agency back in October and wanted to get together, but she had to work and we haven't heard from her since. We hope to get together with her again a few more times before we move (in 2.5 years). Sweet times.

Waiting anxiously to hear the story...

They are beautiful pictures (of beautiful people!).

I don't know where you started 18 months ago, but it looks like you are doing something right!

The pictures are gorgeous!!! I am jealous...we would love to have a healthy relationship with Marcus's family. Is J.J. the baby that you guys had thought you were going to adopt?
What priceless pics to have...thanks for sharing. :)
Hugs,
E

Would love to hear the story. Beautiful pictures, ones he will have forever. I so wish that for my older boys, all I can do is tell them about her. My youngest has pictures and I talk to her every few months when she is ready, but I am thankful for all of them, they have blessed my life tremendously! Thank you will never be enough...

Looks like a very interesting story indeed! Was it planned? Very sweet pictures.

Sadly those are the kids real nicknames--the ones that their parents call them. Snackwell is also called dougnut. But, he has gotten thinner.... he used to be a line backer. See why our kid had not hope but to have a nickname?

Nori is now called Nono. We need a better one.....

Wow! What beautiful pictures! The suspense is killing me!! Tell the story!!
Our agency said that our birthmom had written us a letter- I am trying not to get my hopes up if she didn't but just said she would...I have been running to the mailbox everyday though!

I had to step back a little from this post....the last picture...
I remember sobbing on my stairs when I got my first son's pictures of his birth parents and realized how much he looks like his birth father. I had to lock them away. Someday I will get them out for him. Is it wrong that I can't look at them?

word verification=y.b.pep?
y.not?

B--not weird at all. I has taken me a very long time to be able to even see her name in PRINT w/out my heart and tummy sinking. I still cannot see pictures of Jojo as a baby because it hurts too much.

The difference here is that we had a relationship w/ them before Cubby even showed up. That makes a big difference. If it was out of the blue like that, it would be much, much harder.

Looking at that last picture is still very hard for me. I see the joy and then go directly to the flip side of it...her grief and our grief, etc. It is hard.

Please, please tell the story. I would love to read it. Just the pictures are a sweet narrative, but I am soooo curious about all the flavors of adoption and would give a lot to hear more about yours.

Also, is it just me or do his eyes glimmer with dreams of what he could DO to that cell phone given just 36 seconds and his bare hands...
