I have been swamped with getting ready to go. Taking pictures, editing pictures, taking more pictures, last day of school party, Africa stuff....blah, blah, blah. I will finish it tonight, but here are a few pictures to tide you over. For the grandma's.
Jacob is still squeezing into small spaces.
He never stops moving (the newest toy obsession is his "gun" which is really that pink toy mixer) He never puts it down. We have all be clocked in the head with his new toy.
He loves watermelon
Princess Lauren at the Golden Gate. Foggy day (as usual) but not too hot
I haven't had as many pictures of Lauren lately...I was trying to figure out why and I realized that 1) she doesn't like me to take her pictures anymore and 2) she is gone all day at school and I don't have as many chances. My goal this month is to get her on film (whether she likes it or not).

great pictures, lady, particularly of lauren's teeth. but there's one missing - where's the pix of your new hip mamacita hair do?
anyway, have a great and safe trip. how long are you gone (and when are you leaving)? write from africa if you can. and take tons of pictures...
And how's the fridge?
Fizzle...
Today was just the CONSULT (snort) and ask I carried my evil children out of the salon, one under each are, with a tears in my eyes (and the tears were for all the restraint it was taking me not to leave them both on the curb) I vowed that I will NOT be too embarassed to go back. Hip it might not be, new it will. I haven't had a hair cut for a YEAR. Yuck. I usually go to a lady in Utah when I visit my parents. But after all the yucky stuff happened I didn't go home. I could have gone here, but just didn't? I think I was more depressed then I realized. I am so happy not to be in survival mode. The first step is taking more care w/ my appearance. If only I was one of those people that lost weight with stress.....that is next.
yen, well, we got the fridge and when it got here it was damaged and HUGE....it looked weird in our tiny kitchen, so we went back and spent even MORE money on a counter depth one (more money for a smaller fridge, just like laptops are more then desktop computers, I guess). Now we just have to do the rest of the kitchen to make it all look as good. OHHHH, but it has a water and ice feature. As much ice as I want, cubes or CRUSHED....that is about as close to heaven as it gets. Now, if I can just get the water part to dispense Diet Coke.......
All for the sake of resale ladies.
Dude, my spelling was awful in that last post. I guess I will start proof reading again.
I don't leave for a week or so..the haircut is next week...I don't be able to write (I am thinking) but I will take lots of photos....
I love that this post is called "DUDE!!!!!" That kinda just made my day. That and the adorable pics of the kids. Hoping the hair cut makes you look all sassy like the moms on TV (seriously, who does their hair and makeup and puts on a cashmere sweater to change diapers? Who?) and the fridge starts dispensing Diet Coke. I just asked my husband to pick up some Diet Orange soda on the way home...he thought I was joking. I was not.
When your kids are having meltdowns at the hairdresser, does that mean they don't try to strike up a conversation with you? Just wondering.
Well, this one put her fingers in her ears so I would say...no.
:-)
Tracy, you are up late...are you feeding the little one?
The pic of Lauren at the bridge makes my heart race, tell me she is not inches from falling into the depths below!
Your pictures are always fun to see. Thanks for posting them.
CJane,
She IS close to the edge, but that is taken at Chrissy Field and the drop is about 9 inches where there are some rocks and then a few feet out there is water. If she had fallen in she would not have been hurt, but she WOULD have been filthy. :-) I did a photo shoot in SF that day and took the kids.
I don't get up there as often as I should.
New hairdo?! FER FUN! :0) Come and see me!!!
Your kids are adorable!
What nice teeth L has!
