Lauren made a grave marker (which we later laminated)
A few words and prayer for our beloved Fairy Lu (so beloved we often forgot to feed her...)
After we put Lulu down to bed, we heard little steps on the stairs. We watched her pick some flowers from the front yard and put them on her grave. Poor Lauren.

This is so precious. And about the jasmine you're smelling - me too - love that smell. ;-)
What a funeral! What an adorable coffin...for a fish. I hope the greiving process is short lived (pun intended). ;-)
Is it sad that I laughed? Not to taunt her, but because I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
At least you didn't have to sew a white shroud for faryul.
And what will she do in heaven when she is greeted by the twelve faryuls that were the one fairy lu?
RIP smelly fish, rest in peace....
Jen...I thought the same thing.....
It isn't bad that you laughed. Is it bad that I took pictures SPECIFICALLY so I could post them for my blogging public (which includes grandma so it is semi legit).
Also, I loved the "faryul". Spelling is not our strong point so far.......
Oh Lauren! Smelly faryul. . . you will be missed and NEVER forgotten!
your child looks JUST like Dakota fanning. is that ok to say? I am sure you get that a lot!
sorry about the fish.
That is so sweet. And funny at the same time. She'll love this when she's older!
Nie Nie, my sisters say the same thing....I don't see it but I have gotten this before. And, since Dakota Fanning currently has more money and job security then I will ever, ever, ever have.....so I will take it.
