What does it mean?

Today, I was driving down the road behind a brand new BMW convertible with a 50'ish, beautiful and hip woman driving it. The vanity plate read:

PDY FACE

What does this mean? I immediately thought it meant "potty face" (shows you who I spend the most time with). It could also mean Pretty Darn Young Face? Hmmmmm, any other ideas? I hate vanity plates for this reason... I can't figure them out.
I also saw a guy riding one of those bikes with the GIANT front wheel (higher than my car....) and a transvestite (or transgendered, not sure) woman (that means a man dressed as a woman) walking home from the store. His/Her daughter is in my daughter class. They are a really nice family. He/She has really long hair and always wears some type of hat and has GREAT shoes. I want to know where she gets them in her size because they are awesome.
Also, I forgot that today was early release day and didn't pick Lu up from the bus. She walked home from the bus for the first time EVER and burst into tears the minute she got in the door. I have instilled the fear of "bad guys" in her and it really shook her up. Bad Mommy. I was distracted by the licence plate, the bike and the shoes.

All in a day here in suburban San Francisco.

My guess is pretty face -> priddy face -> pdy face. Dumb vanity plates, I am totally with you on that.

I think it means 'Piddy Face'

Piddy: An individual who is so sure that others think upon them as highly as they think upon themselves. They often seen splurging on such items as vanity license plates, personalized dinnerware and t-shirts bearing their likeness and convertibles.

Love your post! About the er... person in the rather large, but attractive shoes. Once my brother, Mo, accompanied me to this fancy shindig in Manhatten after we left there was this person dressed in a very revealing slip and I swear size 16 white pointed toe stilleto pumps and this person was singing. This was my second time in the big city. I was a bit insecure about this event, but Mo had a great laugh and was like "get over it... that's NY!" So.. I'm over it. I love NYC!!!

On the plates.. I think Ana probably has it, but those drive me crazy and how about this bumper sticker, "heck is what people say who don't believe in Gosh." I honestly saw that last week and I think they may have that backwards or something.

And, Bek, if you are serious about commisions you can email me at love.boxes@att.net and I will give you all the details.

Best Wishes... Tiffany

I can't stand plates like that; they keep me wondering all day long. My friend is an occupational therapist and wanted to have them that says OTR. They rejected it saying it was a certain reference to a woman's menstruation...

I hate the vanity plates... they are a pain to figure out. And, if hubby sees them - he totally zones out. He HAS to figure it out and forgets that he is driving. One day he's gonna kill us all as he stares into the distance saying, "What could it mean? What could it mean..."

I was driving to costco with my girls and saw one... it said I(heart)INTRS - what does that mean? I love Interns?? must be a congressman.

And... do you wonder what it's like for that little girl with the daddy... who likes pretty shoes? I'm so curious.

wow cool!

hey Bek- drop me an email or comment when you plan on being in town for shopping, etc. I am super close to the shopping area and we could have a play date at my house/ diaper changes thrown into the mix and lunch if you want to make it a long but easier day for the kids. my son is a bit unpredictable going out to eat still, but I would be willing to give it a shot if you want to (nord cafe has yummy kids pizza).

Ok Bek- you have to ask her where she gets her shoes-- me of the "size 11-12" ginormous feet needs to know!!

my mom once was very late in picking me up when I was in first grade. So late that the teacher put me on a bus, being convinced that it did pass close to my house...almost 30 minutes later and an almost empty bus did my mom manage to catch up to the bus, flag it down and save me.

I'm sure Lu won't be permanetly damaged.

Yeah, vanity plates have got to go. I've got to say though, I saw a pretty good one here in L.A. last year - it was a white Bronco and the vanity plate read "NOT OJ'S"

Sounds like a fun and interesting place you live in, would be fun, maybe :)

Hmm it could be Pi day face. (March 14th)

Or it could be a sinefeld fan. puddy face?

Or a Loony Tunes fan. Poody tat?

Or a messy eater with chopsticks? Pad Thai Face.

I'm out of ideas...
