And now for something completely different......

Well, well, well. After spending three posts about a fish that was dead, then not dead, then dead again and got more attention in death then she EVER did in life...........it was time for a change.

I have a lot of exciting things about Africa to write about (I leave two weeks from tomorrow) but I wanted to put something totally different up today. I sat at my desk and I thought and I thought about what I could put that was the polar opposite of a fish funeral.........

Then it hit me.......... I know the exact thing.......

Jacob in Lederhosen (a type of German leather shorts for little boys)

Want to know WHY I have a picture of a small black child wearing German clothing? You are going to have to stay tuned for that one...........

Hi J,

Do you know where I got these? From Ludwiga...funny story to follow.

I can just SEE W in these. Did he wear them to church?

That's the cutest picture ever. Although it does look a little fake, perhaps the first time I've seen a black child in lederhosen (or any child for that matter)
He's adorable!!!
OH, and I can't wait to hear about Africa.

First of all, congrats on finishing the homestudy stuff (and for sleeping in until 9).

This pictures is 100 percent real. The yard is too...it looks like we are in a town sqare somewhere in Bavaria...but we are still just in California....

I love it, our family has this little red leather pair that we all wore and have passed around (my family is from Switzerland). . .the best part is that the pockets in front are little hearts. My Dad bought a new pair when he was there a few years ago so now we have a velour/suede pair too. So cute and funny!

How adorable is that? He's so cute. Now I will patiently wait to hear why these kids are being dressed to the tee in German gear...

Want to hear more about your trip, your new role as Volunteer Coordinator, etc.!

Cubby is adorable... my Dad always says... smart babies are high-maitenence... and I also think they are incredibly cute.

I love him in lederhosen... Adolf is rolling in his demented grave. ;-)

...dying to know the story.

What a cutie! You could put him in a potato sack and he'd still be adorable! :) But the lederhosen are particularly cute.

P.S. Just read about Fairy Lu's funeral... please give Lulu my condolences. Or however you spell that.

I think that's one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. (And the Faryul funeral is one of the saddest.)
