Bubbles and Cousins....

This week our cousins came to visit......

Aunt Cyndi brought a bubble machine gun thingy (Walmart 4$)
It was magical...........

...partly because it was so fun to see the boys be impressed,
but partly because Cubby played with his cousin Sam so well. It
is the first time we have seen him be social and SWEET at the same time!

The bubbles smelled like Oranges, but the boys found out that
they didn't TASTE like Oranges....

I love that first photo of the bubbles. How did you get it like that? The nursery does bubbles as the last item on their schedule ...it is magical watching the pure joy the kids have chasing them. Always reminds me to enjoy simple moments.

Great Pics- Reb. You really have a talent for photographing kids- I'm jealous!

We are getting a bubble gun for Easter for Lily- they do bubbles in nursery too and she LOVES it!

Queen, if you have an SLR you can have it focus on the bubbles (which are close) and give it a very shallow depth of focus..meaning everything behind it will be blurry. My camera has 8 focus points on the lens and I can choose to have it "focus" on the closest one.... there is a MUCH better explination I am sure....

So fun!! Yay that Cubby was able to be social and sweet!! Maddy used to have trouble with that too, she was such a bully! Great pictures and looks like a great time. Bubble gun, sounds like a great idea for the parents!! Maybe we'll look into one too!! Have a great weekend!!

Love the photos! I'm jealous of your warm California weather. What I'd give for an afternoon above freezing, where we could play with orange bubbles. Thanks for sharing your happiness with us bloggers.

CUTE!! We love our bubble machine... it means that the kids get all the bubbles that they want and I don't have to loose my breath! :)
