I have loved your posts at Design Mom and this one was the best!

By the way--thanks for putting me on to Design Mom. I won the latest giveaway and I am so excited! (Never mind all those times I entered and tried to come up with clever comments. This time I put up something totally lame and I won!) Now I am inspired to get serious about painting my walls so I'll have somewhere nice to hang it.

You're another person that I consider famous. ;-) Loved your last post. I love that you talk about trying to reconcile the side that wants to help and the side that loves pretty things. I think we're all like that...and well - there's nothing wrong with it.

CW - I'm jealous. ;-)

CW-- LUCKY!!

Queen, we need to talk. Iwant your stake to sponsor an oven... :-)

Chou-chou... I like your style woman. I wish we could go eat chocolate crossiants together. Since we live so close together. We WILL!! I also have a lady I want you to meet, she adopted a little girl from ET and is really great...

Kristi-- I am off to read it right now. I sometimes miss the fact that that part of my life is over (unless my husband gets a different job..) but I feel so blessed that I can still be involved in stuff like this... I love that your site makes me feel galvinized to do those things in my own home.. sometimes I have more enthusiasm for the children "out there".. .

It was so great! For some reason, it won't let me leave a message there, but I'll try back later. I've LOVED reading you at Design Mom this week. You are great.

Hey - we totally need to talk. I've sent the info on to my ward leaders. the RS isn't interested at this time they are focusing on local stuff - BUT one of our counselors in the bishopric is interested and he also suggested our PA leader - let you know once I hear back. AND I've sent it to my bunco group and will do so with neighbors and friends not at church. I figure if we all donate 50 bucks... we can get some ovens no problem. Plus...where I live... that is not a problem for most of these folks. It's insane. I'll send this out to my parents ward/stake in the Bay Area too.

I may be coming into the Bay Area sometime... maybe next month... I'll let you know.
